Our Purpose

The Wyoming Foundation has been active in the community since 1977. We serve the Wyoming Area by making annual grants for worthy activities in Wyoming County and the surrounding area. 

Our grants are created by the interest earned on our perpetual general fund managed by the Foundation's Board of Directors. 

We sometimes manage gifts for special needs in the area. These are donor-advised funds, like scholarships and awards. 

Grants are often given to libraries, service organizations, education programs, and social service projects. We usually give grants in the spring of the year.  

If your organization would like to apply for a grant, please write to the Foundation for an application and guidelines.
